Hablamos con Dani Rodríguez, candidato del PP a la Alcadía de San Roque

Un placer tenerte en nuestras páginas y conocer algo más del proyecto para San Roque. ¿Puedes descubrimos cuáles serían las principales líneas de tu programa?

El placer es mío... saludar a los lectores y darles a conocer las líneas de un programa realista, que hemos preparado desde el Partido Popular de San Roque. Hemos elaborado un plan completo y conciso, que tiene muy clara sus competencias. Empezando por trabajar con todas las administraciones con el respeto y la diligencia que cada una merece, sin distinciones. Sin

batallas que no permitan el avance de todos los sanroqueños. Vamos a trabajar por el San Roque del futuro con un plan de crecimiento y desarrollo sostenible, sabemos dónde queremos posicionar a San Roque dentro de 15/20 años. Empezando por mi especialidad profesional, pondremos en marcha un plan de seguridad actualizado al municipio y que cubra todas sus necesidades. Abriendo Jefaturas de Distrito. Sólo falta echar un vistazo a los acontecimientos de hace unos días en Guadiaro para saber que necesitamos crecer en Seguridad Ciudadana. Otra de las cuestiones que nos preocupan es la política social y la cohesión de todas las entidades y asociaciones para dar un servicio y una cobertura como es debido. Por ello, vamos a crear un Consejo Social Municipal. Y por último, igual o más importante, trabajar por para la creación de un empleo estable y de calidad en San Roque.

Uno de los puntos en los que más hincapié hace es en conectar todas las entidades sociales.

Efectivamente. Llevamos mucho tiempo escuchando y reuniéndonos con colectivos de diversa cobertura social, que nos han trasladado unas demandas históricas que deben ser atendidas por parte del Gobierno Municipal, cuestión que ahora no ocurre. Es uno de los objetivos más urgentes cuando lleguemos al gobierno. Las asociaciones toman el pulso de la calle y son la capa social más involucrada en las necesidades más acuciantes de la población. Atenderlas, escucharlas y trabaja codo a codo con ellas es algo primordial para atender socialmente a la población. Hablaba antes de ese Consejo Municipal, cómo órgano de convivencia y cohesión entre entidades sociales para tratar de organizar y llegar todos los temas que preocupan a los vecinos.

A nivel seguridad ciudadana anuncia también varios cambios.

Tenemos un déficit muy importante en cuanto a personal y a número de efectivos. En los últimos años el equipo de gobierno ha ido amortizando plazas con planes de empleo, etc. Eso ha llevado a una merma muy importante de la plantilla de Policía Local, cercana al 50%, algo impropio de un municipio como San Roque. Por ello, queremos implementar esa Policía de

barrio, cercana y próxima, atenta a los intereses de los ciudadanos. Dotar de herramientas para abrir las jefaturas de zona (Bahía, Estación y Guadiaro) y lograr una presencia 24 horas en los diferentes núcleos. También queremos recuperar esos grupos de Policía de Medio Ambiente o de Comercio que se ha perdido.

¿Y aparcar en el casco?

Estamos en un lugar emblemático, como la zona de los Cañones. Precisamente en este punto queremos recuperar un proyecto que ya inició en su día Fernando Palma: la construcción de un aparcamiento en este mirador, similar al que se hizo en Vejer. Debemos lograr que todo el mundo pueda acudir al Casco, disfrutar de él, sin problemas de aparcamiento.

Sugiere la importancia de una renovación en la gestión municipal.

Es una de las claves del proyecto. Quiero sentarme con todos los funcionarios, animarlos, respaldarlos y especialmente escucharlos, algo que no se hace ahora. Motivarlos para trabajar por San Roque y hacerles ver que aquí tienen a un compañero más para ese objetivo. Un fin de desarrollo, sin ideologías. Dos puntos del programa claves: la estabilidad y la organización de la plantilla y empresas municipales.

¿Cómo convencería a un votante para depositar su confianza en Dani Rodríguez?

San Roque necesita un cambio. En doce años de Partido Socialista no se ha visto el crecimiento y mejora que nosotros sí podemos darle. Para ello contamos también con todo el apoyo de la Junta de Andalucía y su presidente, Juanma Moreno, para atraer grandes inversiones y apostar de verdad por el crecimiento y desarrollo de San Roque como ciudad de futuro.

Poco a poco, barriada a barriada, vamos conociendo a sus compañeros de lista en este proyecto.

Así es, a través de mis Redes Sociales y las del partido, por barriadas, estamos dando a conocer la fabulosa lista que ha formado el Partido Popular, en la que todos los perfiles, segmentos y sectores están representados para dar el mejor servicio y trabajar por San Roque.

Antes de acabar, si alguien está interesado en el voto por correo, qué debe saber.

El voto por correo es muy importante y lejos de toda leyenda mal entendida, muy sencillo. Sabemos que los comicios del 28-M caen en una fecha señalada con El Rocío, ferias, viajes familiares, etc. Por eso es importante explicar que ahora es muy sencillo el voto telemático, se puede solicitar por internet [con firma electrónica] o desde una ventanilla en la Oficina de Correos. Un funcionario de Correos le llevará toda la información electoral a casa del votante y en ese mismo momento, pidiéndole unos segundos, se puede entregar el sobre cerrado al mismo funcionario y ejercer el voto directamente desde casa, en sólo unos segundos. Es muy sencillo aunque durante todos estos días seguiremos dando mucha información a este respecto.

“San Roque needs a Town Hall that governs and manages for all the people of San Roque, without distinctions”

It is a pleasure to have you among our pages and to discover a little more about the project for San Roque. Can you describe what the main lines of your programme will be?

The pleasure is mine, I want to greet the readers and announce the main points of the programme that we have prepared at the Partido Popular in San Roque. We have produced a complete and concise plan that is very clear about its competencies, we aren’t trying to wage a battle against the other institutions. We are going to work for the San Roque of the future with a plan of growth and sustainable development, we know where we want to position San Roque within 15/20 years. Of course, that is my speciality, we will launch an updated security plan for the municipality, which meets all of its needs; you simply need to look at the events a few days ago in Guadiaro to know that we need to improve in this area. Another of the matters that concern us is the social policy and the cohesion of all the entities and association in order to provide a proper service and coverage, therefore it would be a great initiative to create a Social Council. And lastly, of equal or greater importance, we will work to create stable and quality employment in San Roque.

One of the points that you emphasise most is on connecting all the social entities.

Indeed, we have spent a lot of time listening and meeting with these groups who have informed us of historic demands that need to be met by the Municipal Government, which does not happen now. That is one of the most urgent objectives when we get into government. Associations take the pulse of the street and are the social layer most involved in the most pressing needs of the public. Dealing with them, listening to them, and working side by side with them is essential in order to socially serve the public. I was talking before about the Municipal Board, as a body for coexistence and cohesion among social entities in order to try to organise and address all the issues of concern to residents.

In terms of civic security, you are also announcing several changes.

We have a very important deficit in terms of staff and the number of forces. In recent years, the government team has gradually depreciated places with employment plans, etc. That has led to a very significant reduction in the staff levels of the Local Police, almost 50%, which is unsuitable in a municipality like San Roque. Therefore, we want to implement neighbourhood policing, close and friendly, attentive to the interests of citizens. Provide tools to open the headquarters in the area (Bahía, Estación and Guadiaro) and achieve a 24-hour presence in the different hubs. We also want to bring back those groups of Environmental or Business Police which have been lost.

And parking in the town centre?

We are in an emblematic area, the zone of Los Cañones. Indeed, in this regard to want to bring back a project that was started by Fernando Palma, creating a spectacular vantage point with large spaces for underground parking, as is the case in other municipalities, something similar was done in Vejer. We have to enable everyone to be get into the Centre, to enjoy it, without parking problems.

You suggest the importance of renewal in municipal management.

It is one of the keys of the project. I want to sit down with all the civil servants, encourage them, support them, and especially listen to them, which isn’t done now. Motivate them to work for San Roque and make them see that they have another colleague here for that objective. An aim of development, without ideologies.

How would you convince a voter to place their trust in Dani Rodríguez?

San Roque needs a change. In the twelve years of the Socialist Party, it has not seen the growth and improvement that we can provide. To do so we also have all the support of the Regional Government of Andalusia and its president, Juanma Moreno, in order to attract great investments and really commit to the growth and development of San Roque as a city of the future.

Gradually, neighbourhood by neighbourhood we are getting to know your colleagues on the list for this project.

Indeed, through my Social Networks and those of the party, by neighbourhood, we are announcing the fantastic list that the Partido Popular has created, in which all the profiles, segments and sectors are represented in order to give the best service and work for San Roque.

Before ending, if anyone is interested in voting by mail, what do they need to know.

Voting by mail is very important and far from any misunderstood myths, it is very easy. We know that the elections on 28-M fall on an important date with El Rocío, fairs, family trips, etc. Therefore, it is important to explain that electronic voting is now very easy, it can be requested over the internet (with an electronic signature) or over the counter at a Post Office. A Correos worker will bring all the electoral information to the home of the voter and at that same point, asking them to wait a few seconds, you can deliver the sealed envelope to the same worker and exercise your vote directly from home, in just a few seconds. It is very easy although over the coming days we will continue to provide a lot of information on this matter.
